LAW THREE YEAR COURSE ADMISSION : RULES AND PROCEDURES |
ELIGIBILITY - Gratuation with 45% marks for Genral Candidate & 40% marks for S.C & S.T |
There are following rules and procedures for admission in the LL.B. three year course:
1. Admission in three year course shall be on the basis of appearing at entrance examination and merit list sent by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Avadh University, Faizabad (UP.).
2. 15% Admission will be on merit based.
3. All students appearing at first semester examination will be promoted in the second semester automatically but will get the admission in the third semester only when he/she has passed first and second semesters or obtained minimum 45% marks in at least eight papers including first and second semester. All students appearing at third semester examination will be promoted in the fourth semester automatically but for admission in the fifth semester it is must to pass the first, second, third and fourth semesters examination.
4. All students appearing at fifth semester, will be promoted in the six semester automatically but it would be must for admission in the seventh semester, the students should be passed fifth and sixth semesters examination or have obtained 45% marks in the fifth and sixth semesters at least in eight papers. All students appearing at the seventh semester will be promoted in the eighth semester automatically.
5- For admission in the Nineth semester, the students must have obtained 45% marks at least in eight papers of the seventh and eighth semesters examination. Students appearing at Nineth semester examination will be promoted in the tenth semester automatically. All those students, who have passed the tenth semester examination, including all the last semesters will be eligible to have the degree of the law (five year course).
6. All students who have passed all tenth semesters exams will be awarded the degree of B.A. LL.B. by the university.
7. Those students who have not obtained 45% marks may appear at re-examination in those papers in which there is more than 36% marks. Such re-examination will be held with the main examination of the university.

. There should be 45% marks for the second division and 60% marks for the first division.
9. Students seeking admission in the first semester should pass all ten semesters maximum in the eight years, otherwise they would not be entitled with the degree of the law (five year course).|
10. There was 95% result in the first semester of law three/five year courses.
